Hi,
When I want to get a DDS chart I get the following :
<We were unable to retrieve the DSS image. This is usually because NASA's SkyView service, which the AAVSO uses to retrieve DSS images, is down.
If it persist what can be done?

(I changed the title of your post because simply calling it "VSP" automatically linked it to the VSP itself!)
To answer your question, unfortunately we do not know how long NASA's Sky View service will be unavailable. You can still plot charts without selecting the DSS option for now.

At this point we don't know if the AAVSO's VSP tool is causing a problem of over-usage for them, but we are investigating.
